The Long Island Imagine Awards shines a spotlight on the incredible work of nonprofit organizations across the region. This annual event brings together nonprofits competing in categories such as Arts & Culture, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA), Innovation, Leadership Excellence, Rising Star, and Social Impact. Each winner receives a $5,000 grant, while finalists are awarded professionally produced videos showcasing their organizations and a $1,000 grant courtesy of the event’s Diamond Sponsor, SterlingRisk.
Philip’s involvement goes beyond attending meetings. As part of the committee, he actively interviews semifinalist nonprofits, visiting their foundations to understand their missions and assessing their impact. His role includes providing detailed feedback to ensure the best organizations are recognized and celebrated.
